We're thrilled to announce the astounding achievements of Yume Africa's tutoring program in the 2023 final exams for high school students in Bafang, Cameroon. The hard work, dedication, and perseverance of both our students and our dedicated team have yielded truly impressive results that have surpassed all expectations.
In a cohort of 130 students enrolled in our tutoring program, we are overjoyed to report a remarkable 93.3% pass rate for the BEPC (Brevet d'Études du Premier Cycle), as compared to the national pass rate of 82.25%. Similarly, our students achieved an impressive 94.5% pass rate for the BAC (Baccalauréat), compared to a national pass rate of 75.73%. Lastly, for the Probatoire, our students achieved an outstanding 84.4% pass rate, surpassing the national pass rate of 55.07%.
These results are a testament to the hard work and commitment demonstrated by both our students and our dedicated team of tutors. Through countless hours of focused study and the invaluable support of our tutoring program, our students have risen above challenges and proven that with the right resources, success is within reach.
This achievement is especially significant as it marks the third year of our after-school tutoring program in Bafang, Cameroon. This program, designed to provide students with the tools and guidance needed to excel in their final exams, has not only empowered our students academically but also instilled in them the confidence to pursue their dreams.
