It's official! Yume Africa is a US tax exempt nonprofit organization

Yume Africa is proud to announce it is now officially a public charity with tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. Contributions donated to Yume Africa are fully tax-deductible retroactive to the founding of the organization which is December 2, 2020.

Yume Africa is also now eligible to apply for government and foundation grants, which will further broaden its access to resources and strengthen its ability to serve African children and youth's community.

“Obtaining 501(c)(3) status is a major milestone for Yume Africa,” said with emotion its President and Founder Madeleine Kamga. “This opens many doors for us to expand fundraising activities, broaden access to resources, and fully realize our mission as a charitable organization devoted to promoting and supporting education in Africa, especially in Cameroon. I want to thank all the people that supported us from the beginning.”
